Wilson Mooney Beyond Eighteen Volume 3 Gretchen de la O Books
I have been eagerly awaiting the last book in the Wilson Mooney Trilogy for some time, so needless to say, my expectations were high. I was not disappointed. I just LOVED the connection between Max and Wilson. I sometimes felt as if I was intruding on their privacy. ****SPOILER***** There is a part in the book when J (Wilson's best friend, is talking to Nick (yeah you heard me))on the phone and Wilson is overhearing the conversation. J is stating that she doesn't think Max will come when he says he will due to his own family crisis. This upset's Wilson, but she decides to ignore the feeling that maybe J is correct. It was weird. I can absolutely see how J would think so, but deep down in my heart I knew he would come to support Wilson, because his love for her is "beyond" anything else. I almost felt victorious and wanted to scream: "Ha, told you so" to J when she was surprised to see Max enter Wilson's house. LOVED IT!!!The book is hot and rather detailed, so be aware if that is not your cup of tea. After having to wait two books basically, Wilson and Max make up for lost time..., he, he, he!!! I feel a sense of fulfillment and contentment this very moment. All is well and I feel at peace! Thanks Gretchen!

Wilson Mooney Beyond Eighteen Volume 3 Gretchen de la O Books Reviews
This book had high expectations & well Gretchen over exceeded my expectations. I'm sad to see this series end but so happy with the story & the way it ended, you get to see Wilson grow & the love Max has for Wilson. Seriously Nancy I would kill to have a mom or grandma like that *i do actually have those & appreciate it a lot* but holy cow loved this book.. Maybe just maybe Gretchen will write Joanie & Nick a book or even Cindy can have a novella. THIS IS A MUST READ SERIES/BOOK
Max and Wilson's love story is extraordinary while it seems rooted in those typical family dramas that can strain a relationship. Processing their intense feelings for each other while dealing with misunderstandings, insecurities, and yes even a death in the family make this a lovable story that makes you remember the intensity of those feelings surrounding your first love. I would recommend ANYTHING this author writes.
I love this couple, serious love them so so much. They’ve been through so much already and it seems like they JUST started seeing each other. Life keeps throwing obstacles in their way, but together they can work through anything. I highly recommend this series. It’s just so so good.
It was a good 'kind of ' ending.. I guess I prefer a more 'definite' ending. Especially since so much of my time was invested! There seems to still be a lot up in the air.,I find sometimes authors spent huge amounts of time on a scene that may be important -but may not warrant such a huge space in the story. The other scenes, like the endings which are incredibly important to me, are rushed. I felt that with this book. I read the 2 books before ...TWICE..... Waited a long time for the 3rd, and although I liked it... I felt a little let down. Especially since this is the last book, I believe. Maybe we'll see a 'Nick & J' spin off where we'll hear some more Wilson & Max details as their lives progress. One can hope!! I'd like a real ' The End'.
The Wilson Mooney Series...not at all what I was expecting when I read what it was about. I will admit that I was a little uncertain before I read them (this is book 3 in the series.) Thankfully I found this series after it was complete so I could read them all at one time. I give a lot of credit to Ms. de la O, she handled a sticky subject matter in a tasteful and yummy way. Max --- where was he student teaching when I was in high school? The drama, the desire, the secrets, the friends, the family. It all works its way into a great series that I want more and more of. There are so many more stories to be written from this series, hopefully there might be more down the line.

Will Wilson and Max ever get to have their happily ever after?
I must say that The Wilson Mooney Series is by far one of my favorites. Max Goldstein has held a SPECIAL place in my heart since I read the first book (ALMOST EIGHTEEN) over a year ago. I'm really sad that the series is over because I don't have my fix of Max.
I was really nervous about this book. I wasn't sure what to expect but I knew that Gretchen would NOT disappoint...& she DID NOT!!!
The 2nd book (EIGHTEEN AT LAST) left me devastated. I wanted book 3 like NOW...The anticipation would leave butterflies in my stomach and I just didn't know what was going to happen with Max & Wilson. & I NEEDED TO KNOW. They had been through so much & I wasn't sure how much more their relationship could take. Then to throw Cindy and Nick into the mix and boom..it seemed doomed.
Max & Wilson had a lot of issues to work through, and at times, I felt like I was intruding on them. Once they worked through all the "wrong" they had done to one another, it was worth the wait. I love these two characters and it's really hard for me to write this review because of it. I have all these emotions for these two characters that it's hard to put into words what this series has meant to me. I still think of Wilson & Max and I'm hoping that sweet, Ms. Gretchen, will write us a Novella or even a book 4 to let us know how Max & Wilson are doing.
I'm sad it's over & I'm so glad I came across this series. Max is right at the top of my BOOK BOYFRIEND LIST & that is where he will always stay. I love Gretchen and her writing style. She is one of my FAVORITE authors. There are a lot of things that I love about her. What I love the most, is that she interacts with her fans. She genuinely cares about us & THAT MEANS A LOT!!! Thank you so much, Gretchen, for bringing us Max...& Wilson of course. You have a special place in my heart. THANKS AGAIN..YOU ROCK!!!!
OF COUSE I GIVE BEYOND EIGHTEEN 5 CRAZIE STARS
